Parker Hannifin Has Created a Tool Based on Qt Allowing OEMs to Consolidate a Machine's UIs Into One Single Display

Parker Hannifin, a global motion and control technology company, wanted to reduce the number of displays in machinery cabins and give OEMs a simple way to combine multiple machine applications into one screen. With help from Qt, the company set out to build an application-based product for mobile machinery HMI development using tools such as QML, Qt Creator, and Boot2Qt.

Qt Consulting worked with Parker Hannifin to create Parker Application and the broader Parker UX platform, including a graphical editor that lets OEMs lay out user interfaces and manage communications more easily. The result was a solid software base that improved ease of use and efficiency, helping customers consolidate several UIs into a single display and create more value for machine builders.
