Vochlea - Customer Case Study

Vochlea, a creative technology company, needed to develop a complex and responsive user interface for their Dubler voice-to-MIDI software. Their challenge was to create a real-time UI that displayed audio processing at 60 fps without requiring extensive development time or a large budget, all while interfacing with a resource-intensive audio backend.

By implementing Qt, specifically its QML framework, Vochlea was able to build Dubler's UI almost 15 times faster than with traditional C++ methods. The solution utilized Qt's hardware acceleration, cross-platform capabilities, and its signals and slots architecture to seamlessly connect the C++ backend to the high-performance QML frontend. This resulted in a stable, low-latency interface that was developed quickly and efficiently, significantly accelerating their time to market.
