Polk’s Drugs, a small chain of pharmacies in Mississippi, needed a modern pharmacy management system to improve profitability, maintain patient safety, and implement better technology at its Ocean Springs location. To address those concerns the pharmacy selected QS/1 and its SharpRx Pharmacy Management System to replace their older, more complex software.

QS/1 implemented SharpRx, delivering an intuitive, multi-screen workflow with drag-and-drop label/form editing, electronic signature management, and stronger adjudication and inventory tracking. The result was faster prescription processing and easier training (what once took weeks or months now often takes only a couple of days), most prescriptions adjudicating without staff intervention, fewer out-of-stock incidents, and reduced administrative time—freeing Polk’s Drugs’ staff to focus on pharmacy tasks.
