Moundsville Pharmacy, a retail independent pharmacy in Moundsville, West Virginia, sought to expand its prescription synchronization program and improve medication adherence and overall workflow efficiency. The pharmacy, led by owner Jason Turner, already used QS/1’s NRx Pharmacy Management and Point-of-Sale Systems and turned to QS/1 for tools and support to better leverage that platform rather than replace it.
QS/1 helped implement its Workflow platform plus Pharmacy at a Glance, Tickler, Health‑Minder and InstantFill features integrated with NRx, streamlining scheduling, refill tracking and quality checks. The results included a 22% increase in monthly prescription volume (from 7,300 to 8,800), 850 patients enrolled in synchronization accounting for 55% of volume, an 11% lift at a second location (3,750 Rx/month with 340 sync patients), recognition as West Virginia’s Top MTM Center and measurable operational efficiencies such as fewer calls, consolidated deliveries and more consistent processing.
