Campus Health Services - Customer Case Study

Campus Health Services at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill serves a community of about 29,000 students, faculty and staff and faced the challenge of communicating with and efficiently serving a busy, tech‑savvy campus population. To modernize operations and outreach, Campus Health Services partnered with QS/1, implementing systems including NRx, NRx Workflow, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Point‑of‑Sale, Ready Fill, numerous billing and pharmacy interfaces, and eClinicalWorks integration.

QS/1’s integrated suite streamlined dispensing, workflow and billing, enabled students to charge prescriptions and OTC items to their student accounts without payment at point of sale via the eClinicalWorks link, and helped the pharmacies stay organized and compliant with changing regulations. QS/1’s solutions supported Campus Health Services’ growth and campus presence — including two on‑campus pharmacies and expanded staffing — and contributed to improved convenience, patient education and overall service for the 29,000‑member campus community.
