Case Study: Feonix - Mobility Rising closes rural mobility gaps and delivers 6,204 rides with QRyde

A QRyde Case Study

Preview of the Feonix - Mobility Rising Case Study

Non-profit organization creating cutting edge rural transportation networks

Feonix - Mobility Rising is a 501(c)(3) non-profit working since 2018 across 4 states and 378 communities to eliminate transportation inequities in rural and transit‑isolated areas. Facing large service areas, scarce vehicles/drivers and a high disparity of canceled rides between rural and urban zones, Feonix partnered with vendor QRyde and adopted the QRyde technology platform (QRyde for Communities) to fill mobility gaps and offer on‑demand options via call center, website and mobile app.

QRyde implemented a marketplace and multimodal MaaS platform that lets providers accept or decline requests, enables mobility managers at medical campuses to match riders with appropriate NEMTAC‑certified drivers or wheelchair‑equipped vehicles, and supports single‑payment multi‑leg trips. The solution delivered measurable impact: 6,204 rides provided between August 2018 and December 2020 across 30+ communities, and pilots like Winnebago Catch‑A‑Ride produced 84 rides from six volunteer drivers in three months, improving access and lowering barriers for rural riders.
