Ludvika Municipality’s Social Administration division faced a significant challenge in accessing reliable, timely, and relevant information about its operations, which span elderly and disabled care. The available data was often of low quality, making it difficult for managers to answer basic questions about finances, occupancy, and costs, thereby hindering effective strategic decision-making. To address this, they partnered with vendor QPR Software, utilizing their QPR Metrics and QPR Portal products.
The solution implemented by QPR Software, named SIV, was a web-based portal that automatically collected and integrated existing data from financial systems to provide managers with up-to-date, quality-assured key performance indicators. This gave the organization daily control over its operations, enabling better monitoring, effective evaluation, internal benchmarking, and more accurate decision-making. According to the head of the division, QPR created the conditions for vastly improved steering of the business.
