Joulz, a Dutch energy engineering company and subsidiary of Eneco, faced the challenge of reducing its cost of service while maintaining operational excellence for its energy grid operations. Their goal was to minimize customer interruptions while operating under strict regulatory price caps. To address this, Joulz partnered with vendor QPR Software to implement the QPR Suite as a business management support system.

The solution from QPR integrated various systems into a single portal, providing employees and contractors with easy access to processes, documentation, and safety alerts. The QPR Suite automated information gathering and delivered key performance reports. This implementation by QPR resulted in annual software savings of €75,000 and played a crucial role in process optimizations that contributed to a resource cost reduction of over €15 million. The success led Joulz's parent company, Stedin, to also begin implementing QPR Suite.
