Indonesian Financial Services Authority - Customer Case Study

The Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) was formed from a merger and faced the challenge of integrating two different strategy management systems into one sustainable, software-powered solution. The organization needed to move away from inefficient manual data collection and reporting for its over 2,000 employees to better justify its performance to stakeholders, monitor governance, and manage its strategy effectively. To address this, OJK selected QPR Software and its QPR Metrics product to build a new strategy management system.

The solution implemented by QPR Software, facilitated by local partner GML Performance Consulting, was a Balanced Scorecard-based system named SIMPEL. This provided automated data collection, performance reporting, and insightful dashboards. The results included streamlined processes, the ability to analyze performance against nearly 200 KPIs, and successful integration with the budgeting system. Using QPR Metrics, OJK can now transparently justify its performance to the government and parliament, having resolved over two-thirds of 21,000 consumer complaints and harmonized regulations through 31 best practices shortly after implementation.
