A QPR Software Case Study
AMAG Automobil- und Motoren AG, a major Swiss automobile dealer, faced the challenge of a short-term sales focus that lacked visibility into strategic performance. This made it difficult to link long-term strategic goals with daily operations. To address this, AMAG chose QPR Software and implemented their QPR Metrics product to build a strategic performance management system based on the Balanced Scorecard methodology.
The QPR solution, known as the Strategy Cockpit AMAG (SCA), integrated 12 strategy maps and scorecards with management reports. This provided approximately 300 top and middle managers with a consolidated view of performance, making the company's strategy measurable and manageable. The implementation by QPR Software led to a common understanding of KPIs, enabled management by exception, and provided the foundation for expanding the system across the entire corporate group.
