Case Study: Oslo Airport improves security, safety, and compliance with Qognify

A Qognify Case Study

Preview of the Oslo Airport Case Study

Oslo Airport - Customer Case Study

Oslo Airport, Norway’s largest airport, needed to improve security, safety, operations, and compliance after expanding its terminal. The airport also wanted a unified platform that could integrate existing and future systems, including third-party sensors, while supporting real-time situational awareness and adherence to SOPs. Qognify’s Situator and existing video management tools were used to meet these needs.

Qognify implemented Situator, integrating it with video management, video analytics, access control, and the Flexigate system to manage more than 2,000 video channels. The result was improved security and safety, a more efficient centralized control room, better compliance, and automated guided workflows; it also provided override support for Flexigate gate switching between Schengen and non-Schengen flights. Overall, Qognify helped Oslo Airport upgrade cost-effectively by leveraging existing systems instead of replacing them.
