A Qmarkets Case Study
Intesa Sanpaolo Card, a payments provider operating in 11 countries (founded 2009, ~345 employees, processing ~600 million transactions/year), needed to preserve an innovative, product-focused culture across dispersed teams while meeting strict financial-sector security and on‑premise deployment requirements. After evaluating over 20 vendors, they chose Qmarkets and its Q‑flex platform to provide a locally deployed, secure, scalable idea and innovation management solution that would drive employee engagement and support future growth.
Qmarkets configured Q‑flex to meet Intesa Sanpaolo Card’s security, visual design, gamification and approval‑workflow needs, enabling manager crowd-voting and C‑level shortlisting. The program generated 123 ideas, 331 comments and 1,757 votes, and helped produce breakthrough projects — including the world’s first HCE implementation for American Express (with PBZ, July 2014) and Europe’s first Wave2Pay HCE mobile service (April 2015) — demonstrating measurable engagement and innovation impact from the Qmarkets deployment.
