A Qmarkets Case Study

Preview of the Amer Sports Case Study

Qmarkets & Amer Sports – An Innovative Partnership that Created Unprecedented Blue Collar Employee Engagement

Amer Sports, a Helsinki-based multinational sporting goods manufacturer, faced growing competitive disruption and needed to unlock innovation across 8,526 employees in 34 countries. To engage a geographically and linguistically diverse workforce and enable technical collaboration between designers, engineers and manufacturers, Amer Sports selected Qmarkets and its Q-max Idea & Innovation management platform to provide a scalable, multi-lingual, mobile-enabled solution and a partnership approach rather than a basic off-the-shelf tool.

Qmarkets ran requirements workshops, piloted and rolled out a configured Q-max system with multi-language support, mobile app, gamification, integration and a custom evaluation workflow, while Amer Sports built an internal I.D.E.A.S. brand, submission stations and incentives to drive adoption. The Qmarkets implementation produced 30 campaigns, 1,500 ideas, 136 ideas selected, 15 ideas with measurable value (projected at €23K per idea over three years) and a 50% overall engagement rate (over 30% among factory workers), with plans to scale internally and to external partners.
