A Qmarkets Case Study
RTE, France’s electricity transmission system operator, needed a company-wide way to capture and manage internal innovation. Before implementing Qmarkets, ideas and initiatives were spread across the organization with no single infrastructure to support them.
Using Qmarkets’ idea and innovation management platform, RTE launched J.Nov in September 2013 to streamline employee suggestions, involve managers, and support idea development across local and central teams. In three and a half years, the platform generated more than 3,700 ideas, with 12% implemented and 16% implemented or in progress, while also helping RTE engage about 4,500 voluntary participants, or 55% of its 8,500 employees.
