Total, a global energy company serving more than 4 million end-customers per day, was looking for a new open innovation solution in 2015. Its French division wanted a way for customers to share ideas in a more welcoming environment and improve the company’s approachability, so it selected Qmarkets’ innovation platform.
Qmarkets implemented the open innovation platform in 12 weeks, with features including auto-translation, multitenancy, gamification, and idea voting. Launched on Total.FR, the program received over 300 registrations on the spot at the Paris Auto Show, generated over 1,500 ideas from customers, and led to the implementation of more than 50 of them.
