ICL, a global minerals company focused on sustainability across food technology, agriculture, and industrial production, needed a better way to connect innovation efforts across its dispersed workforce. To launch its internal innovation accelerator, BIG, the company turned to Qmarkets and its Q-ideate idea management solution to help break down silos, capture employee ideas, and standardize innovation tracking.
With Qmarkets’ Q-ideate powering the PITCH BIG platform, ICL built a structured pipeline for submitting, evaluating, and implementing ideas through a network of more than 300 internal experts and champions. The program has been highly successful, generating nearly 5,000 ideas, completing 1,154 projects, and delivering $262 million in realized run-rate annual operating income contribution by December 2022, with a projected risk-weighted annual outcome of more than $577 million.
