A Qmarkets Case Study
Colruyt Group, a Belgian multinational retailer with ~29,000 employees and more than 15 subsidiaries, wanted to scale its long-standing, people‑centric idea-sharing culture across the whole organization while preserving a safe way for employees to incubate and develop suggestions. To do this they selected Qmarkets and its idea management platform (IDnet) to replace ad‑hoc hotlines and manual emails with a structured, company‑wide ideation system.
Qmarkets implemented a customized platform with an enrichment phase, evaluation workflow, SSO, notifications and an “Adopt This Idea” flow, starting with a year‑long proof‑of‑concept (~3,000 users) and then a full rollout. The Qmarkets solution has yielded 3,000+ ideas, 12,000+ comments, 28,000+ votes, a core audience of 6,500+ engaged users, a steady ~50 ideas/month and a forecasted €800,000 value of implemented ideas in 2018; tangible wins include a mobile pop‑up store, a shuttle program that avoided over 5,000 car journeys, and community events like the 1,500‑participant Groupie Run.
