A Qlucore Case Study
University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center researcher Steven Kornblau uses proteomics and reverse phase protein arrays (RPPA) to study acute myeloid leukemia, but the large volume and complexity of patient and protein data made analysis slow and dependent on overworked statisticians and bioinformaticians. He needed a faster way to identify biologically relevant patterns across hundreds of proteins and many clinical variables.
To address this, Qlucore provided Qlucore Omics Explorer, allowing Kornblau to analyze data himself, adjust parameters on the fly, and generate heatmaps and statistical views without waiting months for outside analysis. With Qlucore, results that once took a couple of months could be obtained in about an hour, speeding discovery and letting the research team explore datasets much more deeply.
