A Qlucore Case Study
Institut Pasteur, through immunologist Darragh Duffy and his lab at the Laboratory of Immunobiology of Dendritic Cells, needed a better way to analyze a very large biomarker dataset from hepatitis patients. The team was studying blood plasma from 190 individuals across Hepatitis A, B, and C, plus healthy controls, using 182 proteins and many clinical factors to identify common and unique viral signatures.
Qlucore provided the analysis environment used to explore the data quickly, helping the researchers immediately spot clear differences in chemokines between the A, B, and C infected groups. The results were strong enough that Qlucore became a research partner in the three-year EU-funded PoC-HCV program, supporting development of point-of-care predictive and prognostic tests for chronic HCV patients, especially in resource-limited settings.
