SickKids uses Qlucore to analyze 1,200+ families in childhood cancer epigenetics research

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is studying the genetic mechanisms of childhood cancer susceptibility. An MD/PhD candidate at SickKids was conducting epigenetics research on Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, which required analyzing a variety of complex and large genomic datasets. To meet this challenge, the researcher employed Qlucore Omics Explorer.

Using Qlucore's software, the researcher was able to perform genome-wide differential methylation analyses and validate statistical findings. The solution provided excellent visualization tools, such as heat maps, to depict the data clearly.
