Institut Pasteur analyzes 190-patient hepatitis data with Qlucore

Institut Pasteur in France faced the challenge of analyzing a large and complex dataset to understand viral signatures in Hepatitis C. The dataset, derived from the blood plasma of nearly 200 individuals, included measurements for 182 proteins and numerous clinical factors. Researchers needed a powerful tool to identify differences between hepatitis A, B, and C infections, and Qlucore Omics Explorer was identified as the solution to handle this analysis.

By implementing Qlucore, the researchers were able to immediately visualize clear differences in chemokine levels between the virally infected groups. The impact of using Qlucore was so positive that it led to a formal partnership; Qlucore researchers are now collaborating with Institut Pasteur on a major three-year, EU-funded program (PoC-HCV) to develop point-of-care tests for Hepatitis C management.
