Virtua Health, a nonprofit health system with five hospitals and 280+ locations, faced a rapid need to centralize and scale its digital efforts during the COVID-19 surge: rising patient demand for convenient digital services, the need to reduce exposure, and legacy telehealth tools that were cumbersome for patients and staff. QliqSOFT supported Virtua Health’s newly formed Digital Transformation Office by providing secure messaging and a browser‑based collaboration platform that includes AI‑driven chatbots, SMS links, virtual visits and remote patient monitoring.

QliqSOFT’s web‑based solution replaced app‑based workflows with conversational chatbots, video telehealth and RPM, delivered in a six‑week rollout and integrated into multiple programs (urgent care telehealth, inpatient and ED RPM, long‑hauler care, pre‑op consults). The results for Virtua Health were measurable: an overall digital health NPS of 80 and ~75% for three COVID programs, a 400% increase in digital tool usage, a 32% relative reduction in hospital readmissions (IPRPM), a 43% reduction in 14‑day ED return visits (EDRPM), more than 1,200 urgent care telehealth encounters in December 2021 and reduced referral leakage of ~20–25 cases per quarter — while improving staff efficiency and requiring minimal training.
