A Qlik Case Study
Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) needed a fast, equitable way to identify households that required WiFi hotspots during COVID-19 school closures. Using Qlik, LCPS combined survey responses with student and household data to prioritize families based on disadvantaged status, number of students, and grade level.
LCPS loaded the data into Qlik, built visualizations, and used the app to map needs, identify priority clusters, and manage contact information and pickup logistics. With Qlik, LCPS improved its ability to find households in need, deploy hotspots more quickly, and adjust distribution based on usage metrics and principal feedback, helping distribute 1,500 hotspots more effectively.
