Transport and logistics specialist uses Qlik to accelerate analysis and application speeds

J.B. Hunt, a major North American transport and logistics operator, needed faster, more reliable access to data to support its J.B. Hunt 360 platform and meet growing customer expectations for visibility and speed. The company faced siloed, disparate sources (including legacy mainframe and SQL systems), long replication latencies and the challenge of migrating workloads in a new multi‑cloud strategy while delivering analytics-ready data quickly across the business.

Using Qlik Data Integration and a Replicate Databricks/Delta solution (with automated modeling into its data warehouse), J.B. Hunt moved to a multi‑cloud architecture and implemented twin databases so a near‑real‑time secondary copy could handle application queries. Replication times dropped from five–six hours to minutes, enabling same‑day reporting, faster ML model development and near‑real‑time driver recommendation notifications—improving driver productivity, satisfaction and overall operational efficiency while reducing risk and production load.
