Texas Children’s Hospital, a large pediatric healthcare system, needed a governed, enterprise analytics platform to turn growing volumes of clinical and operational data into timely insights to improve decision-making and patient outcomes. In just 90 days the hospital deployed 70 QlikView applications to more than 1,000 users, enabling targeted uses such as monitoring pediatric asthma readmissions and reviewing ER outcomes. The apps helped reduce chest x‑rays by about 30%, improved staffing and budget alignment through time-tracking analytics, and drove an organizational shift toward data-driven care and operational decision support.
