tesa, a global leader in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes serving customers in more than 50 countries and with local teams across 13 Asia‑Pacific markets, struggled to get timely, visual reports after implementing a Navision ERP. Affiliates were sending Excel/Access files to Singapore for manual consolidation, which was resource‑intensive and limited visibility into sales, margins and product performance.
tesa deployed QlikView (initially to 70 users) to pull data directly from the ERP via ODBC and deliver a regional sales‑analysis app, with development and training support from QlikView SEA. The solution eliminated manual reconciliation, consolidated affiliate data, and delivered fast, multi‑dimensional visual reporting—freeing IT resources, improving accuracy and responsiveness, and enabling deeper country‑ and product‑level insights across the region.
