Swiss Life France, a major insurance and wealth-management provider, launched the Vision 360 initiative to solve a pressing problem: each portal queried backend systems independently, producing inconsistent customer views that confused customers, salespeople and service agents. The company needed a way to aggregate and deliver a single, near‑real‑time view of customer data across portals, mobile apps and other channels.
Swiss Life implemented Qlik Replicate (CDC) to stream data from its DB2/z mainframe into an Oracle target that feeds an Elasticsearch index. After a brief proof‑of‑concept and fast deployment, the solution eliminated costly backend changes, enabled near‑real‑time, consistent customer views for web and mobile users as well as distributors and agents, and set the stage for broader analytics and expansion into other business lines and regions.
