Stichting Studielink Opens Management Information For Colleges And Universities Through QlikView Portal

Stichting Studielink is a joint venture of Dutch colleges, universities and education agencies that runs the centralized student registration system (about 650,000 registrations yearly) for 56 institutions. After changes to registration flows left gaps and inconsistent local reporting, the sector needed a single, secure management-information source to provide clear, comparable registration status and trends without each institution building its own costly solution.

Studielink engaged The Implementation Group to deliver a QlikView-based SaaS portal with dashboards, drill-downs, trend comparisons and downloadable source files for roughly 350 regular users across nearly 60 organizations. Built in nine days, the in-memory QlikView app delivers fast insights on desktop and tablet, reduced Studielink’s weekly reporting effort from ~8 hours to ~10 minutes, and produced significant time and cost savings plus standardized, sector-wide reporting.
