SodaStream, the reusable-home-carbonation brand known for its “pre-cycling” sustainability message and now part of PepsiCo, faced a shift to direct‑to‑consumer distribution and rapidly growing customer data. The company needed to move from product‑centric to consumer‑centric marketing, connecting data across touchpoints and enabling one‑to‑one relationships across 40+ markets to personalize communications and improve campaign effectiveness.
SodaStream deployed Qlik Sense (integrated with Snowflake), built APIs and a Segmentation Builder, and migrated hundreds of data models in about six months. The platform enabled marketers to define up to ~240 global consumer segments using insights from 20 markets, optimize campaigns and messaging (including sustainability impact), and deliver measurable improvements in targeting and marketing performance.
