Devon Energy, a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company, needed to consolidate large volumes of on‑premise, multi‑source data into a single Azure Data Platform so it could be presented to users logically and support critical analysis. Previous attempts failed due to scalability, speed and cost issues.

Using Qlik Data Integration, Devon built the Devon Data Hub to transform and replicate data from SAP, Oracle and other on‑premise systems into Snowflake on Microsoft Azure, with OData exposing the datasets to users. The solution provides near real‑time loading and now supports over four million Snowflake queries per month.
