Schenker - Customer Case Study

Schenker, a global leader in integrated land, air and sea logistics headquartered in Kelsterbach, Germany (about $11.5B revenue and 42,000 employees), needed to preserve its market position by improving customer service reliability and on-time delivery while maximizing cost efficiency and reducing its environmental footprint. The company required better visibility into shipments and financials to diagnose delays and tighten operational and financial processes.

Schenker deployed QlikView to roughly 750 users across supply chain, finance and Six Sigma teams, aggregating data from Navision, Excel and an in‑house IBM System i tracking system via QlikView Server and Publisher in a matter of weeks. The implementation delivered faster root-cause analysis of shipment delays, higher on-time delivery rates, improved capacity utilization and cost efficiencies, and fewer errors in financial reporting.
