Qlikview Puts Euromaint On The Fast Track To Total Control

EuroMaint, a Swedish provider of comprehensive maintenance and logistics services for rail vehicles and industrial machinery, needed a way to ensure safety, quality and high vehicle availability while coordinating work across about 20 separate applications. The company was dependent on IT specialists for custom reports and struggled to review workflows and plan resources efficiently across finance, production and staffing systems.

EuroMaint deployed QlikView (server and client) across three functions for 15 users and built roughly 80–90 applications that aggregate data from Movex and more than 20 source systems. The result: a common dashboard and self‑service reporting that reduced “panic” IT requests, improved data quality, increased flexibility for in‑house report development, and better resource planning to boost vehicle availability, safety and profitability.
