Reliance Life Insurance, part of Reliance Capital, faced slow, error-prone reporting driven by manual extraction of policy and financial data from systems like Life Asia into unlinked Excel sheets. This made drill-down analysis and timely decision‑making difficult across sales, finance, operations and risk functions.

Reliance deployed QlikView to 800 users, integrating data from Life Asia, Sun, Talisma, Credence, Prophet, Policy Tracking and SAP within a three‑month rollout. Hourly‑refreshed dashboards and drill‑down views to policy level enabled slicing and dicing of KPIs (premium, policies, sum assured, lapses, withdrawals, etc.), creating a single source for daily reporting, improving accuracy, delivery performance and strategic decision‑making.
