Qlikview Provides On-Line, Self-Service Business Discovery For Deloitte

Deloitte Netherlands, a professional services firm with ~4,250 employees, faced a complex reporting challenge: provide timely productivity metrics and actionable insights to more than 200 team leaders using unwieldy Excel reports that lacked intuitive drill-downs and transparency. Finance & Control needed a self-service solution that aligned with the firm’s emphasis on data-driven insight and faster decision making.

Deloitte implemented a QlikView application that combined data from SAP, the SAP data warehouse and Excel, delivering a Productivity Management Reporting app developed within one month. One month after rollout it had 219 active users, saved Finance & Control about 10 hours per month in report preparation, sped up manager-level analysis, improved utilization visibility through dashboards, and generated demand for additional QlikView applications and broader rollouts.
