Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) is a global specialist in risk and employee benefits with more than 7,000 employees operating across roughly 135 countries. The firm needed to replace a labour‑intensive, after‑the‑fact BI approach and disparate reporting systems so executives could access timely, standardised insights on desktops and mobile devices and integrate data from multiple sources.
JLT deployed QlikView as a self‑service business discovery platform, aggregating data from SQL, Access, Salesforce and other systems to deliver real‑time visualisation. The rollout shifted ownership of data to the business, improved customer insight and decision making, cut documentation time by about 50% (from over 40 days to ~22 days in some cases), and freed data staff to focus on higher‑value analysis.
