QlikView Analyses At PC Electric Flexibility Is Everything

PC Electric, an Austrian manufacturer of industrial plugs, sockets and small distribution boxes, needed a BI solution that delivered unlimited analytical flexibility, fast response times and easy integration of internal and external data—requirements made more urgent by a rollout of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Finance and controlling required tools they could adapt day-to-day without heavy IT involvement and that could analyze detailed data across roughly 12,000 articles and 3,000 customers.

PC Electric implemented QlikView (with partner Standard IT Solutions), deploying to about 25 users across four functional areas and producing first analyses within days. The intuitive, graphically oriented interface and Dynamics AX/Excel integration let business users create and modify reports without IT, yielding more efficient reporting, faster decisions and broad adoption across management, sales, operations and finance.
