Roland Scandinavia A/S is the leading Nordic distributor of electronic musical instruments and large-format printers (56 employees, DKK 266m turnover in 2007). As their procurement, stock and sales data grew rapidly, the built‑in Scala ERP reporting proved cumbersome and slow, leaving managers without quick, usable insights.

Roland implemented a QlikView template for Scala, getting graphical reports up within hours and training users in 1–2 hours. Today about 15 staff—from the CEO to sales and warehouse—use QlikView daily for on‑the‑spot reporting, stock optimization and fast market forecasts (produced with QIS partner), improving decision‑making and presentation of company data.
