Case Study: XJTLU (Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University) achieves hands-on data analytics skills and improved employability with Qlik

Qlik plays an integral part in university student education

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University’s International Business School Suzhou faced a growing skills gap as China’s rapid tech development increased demand for trained data analysts. To better prepare students for a competitive job market, the school partnered with Qlik’s Academic Program to bring hands‑on analytics education to a student bootcamp.

The solution was an online bootcamp for 30 students from XJTLU and partner universities that used free Qlik Sense Business software, online training and teaching resources. Participants built dashboards and applications from real data, produced business reports and learned collaborative analytics skills — practical experience that strengthened their employability and created a new model for data‑driven learning.
