Pernod Ricard España, the Spanish arm of the global wines and spirits leader, needed a way to consolidate large volumes of data from multiple sources and produce flexible, dynamic reports for directors and department heads without relying on IT. The goal was faster, more autonomous decision-making across sales, marketing and regional management by making timely KPI data readily available.
Pernod Ricard implemented QlikView in June 2009, quickly integrating SQL, Access, Excel and text files and scaling to documents with over 12 million records. The user-friendly solution sped up report creation and publication, expanded access beyond an initial 10 licenses to include marketing and regional directors, and improved tracking of sales, volume, margins, promotions and market share—delivering rapid adoption, more efficient resource allocation and strong business value.
