Nipro Europe Uses Qlikview To Achieve Operational Excellence

Nipro Europe NV, part of Japan’s Nipro Corporation, develops and distributes medical and pharmaceutical supplies across Europe, Africa, Russia, the Middle East and the US. After rolling out SAP ERP, the company still struggled with ad hoc queries and consolidating data from four different SAP systems, and needed a way to give sales, operations and finance teams easy, self-service access to reliable data.

Working with partner QPRA, Nipro implemented QlikView—building the first full app in one day—and now runs nine apps for sales, operations and finance. The associative, mobile and collaborative dashboards let users drill into sales, stock and financial data themselves, cutting consolidation time from four days to minutes, reducing DSO, eliminating many IT report requests, improving data quality and speeding decision-making.
