Mercedes-Benz Steers After Sales Business With Real-Time Access to bi in QlikView

Mercedes‑Benz India, the Daimler subsidiary that manufactures luxury cars at the Chakan plant and operates a dense dealer network across 31 cities, faced slow, manual and static reporting from its Siebel DMS that hindered aftersales and senior‑management decision making. The company needed near‑real‑time access to data, faster report delivery and more effective, flexible analysis to improve operations and customer service.

Working with partner Technoforte, Mercedes‑Benz deployed QlikView in under four weeks and rolled it out across aftersales, sales, plant operations and HR for over 300 users, integrating SAP and Siebel data. The single BI architecture delivers near‑real‑time dashboards, drastically reduced report times, high user adoption and measurable business impact — including a more than 60% increase in aftersales throughput over two years, improved customer service scores and plans to extend mobile access and wider regional rollout.
