Medair, an aid organization working in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley as part of the Syrian refugee response, digitized its program work—using ODK and GIS to map more than 1,000 informal settlements and LMMS to register beneficiaries and track life‑saving distributions in real time. The challenge was turning these disparate, high-volume field data into coherent, actionable information that program teams and partners (UNHCR, UNICEF and other NGOs) could use to plan, prioritize and respond effectively.

Qlik consolidated data from ODK, GIS and LMMS into interactive Qlik Sense dashboards that are shared with partners and used by hundreds of staff daily. The result: improved visibility and faster, more informed decision‑making, better targeting of interventions, streamlined operations and reduced costs—helping Medair save more lives and demonstrate program impact to donors.
