J.B. Hunt Advances Efforts to Deliver Data in Real-Time With Qlik

J.B. Hunt, a major transportation and logistics operator, needed faster access to real-time data to improve operational efficiency, customer responsiveness, and analytics across its growing business. The company faced challenges delivering meaningful insights, preparing analytics-ready data quickly, and reducing delays across its 360 platform. To address this, J.B. Hunt turned to Qlik, using Qlik Data Integration and Qlik Replicate to support its cloud and data modernization efforts.

Qlik helped J.B. Hunt build near real-time data pipelines from multiple sources into Databricks Delta Lake and automate data modeling in Azure Synapse, cutting data latency from hours to minutes. Qlik also supported J.B. Hunt’s move from Azure to Google Cloud with new replication and composition capabilities, enabling a smoother cloud migration. As a result, J.B. Hunt reduced main database load, improved same-day reporting, and delivered faster ML-driven insights and near real-time driver notifications, boosting productivity and operational efficiency.
