Japfa deploys Qlik to develop Management Information 2.0

Japfa Ltd is a regional agribusiness founded in Indonesia more than 50 years ago, producing poultry, swine, aquaculture and packaged foods across facilities in multiple Asian countries and employing over 38,000 people. As the company grew, so did data volumes and sources; its legacy ERP/BI tools and spreadsheet-based reporting became slow, inconsistent and labor-intensive, undermining timely, fact-based decision making and traceability across the supply chain.

Working with SIFT Analytics, Japfa built the Japfa Information Management System (JIMS) using Qlik Data Integration, Qlik Sense, Qlik Replicate and Snowflake to consolidate transaction data into a governed data lake and publish a single source of truth. The solution enabled automated, daily reporting, removed inconsistencies and manual consolidation, improved operational visibility and cross‑unit communication, and set the stage for wider rollout and future AI/ML-driven insights.
