Istobal Entrusts BI Analysis to QlikView

Istobal, a 60‑year‑old Spanish manufacturer of lubricating equipment and vehicle‑washing systems with over 500 employees and exports to more than 60 countries, needed faster, more agile business intelligence during an ERP migration (AS/400 to Microsoft Dynamics AX) and a changing economic climate. The company required a BI tool that could integrate diverse data sources (databases and Excel flat files), provide quick tracking of indicators, and improve controls and decision‑making.

Istobal deployed QlikView—connecting AS/400, Dynamics AX, SQL Server, Access and Excel—installing a server and rolling the solution out to 45 users across head office and international branches.
