iSi North America, the regional distributor for iSi International’s specialty pressure cylinders across commercial, automotive and consumer markets, struggled despite a major investment in Lawson M3—being “data-rich but information-poor.” Sales analysis was slow and manual, IT was overloaded with report requests, and the company was losing money on unprofitable customers and products without a clear view of margins.
iSi deployed QlikView’s pre-built sales analysis app to pull Movex/AS400 data and gave 20 users self-service access in three days, cutting dependence on IT. The solution revealed margin leaks, enabled data cleansing, and led to price and customer changes that saved an estimated $45,000–$60,000 immediately, while improving productivity and expanding analytics into operations and finance.
