Integrating data with Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS for flexible data links and rapid analysis

Toagosei Co., Ltd.’s Nagoya Factory, a leading Japanese chemicals manufacturer, faced shrinking workforces and the need to boost productivity by digitizing factory operations and leveraging manufacturing data from MES, LIMS and ERP systems. The challenge was to centralize dispersed data and enable fast, flexible analysis to support automation, quality preservation and the transfer of shop‑floor know‑how.

Toagosei adopted Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS to integrate data from multiple servers into a centralized analytics platform, using Qlik’s associative technology for ad‑hoc, bi‑directional data exploration. The deployment made reports that once took hours or days instantaneous, enabled real‑time information sharing and alerts, and scaled to about 190 users creating 90 analytic apps—accelerating IoT-driven smart‑factory initiatives and improving cross‑functional decision making.
