Hypotheken Data Netwerk and QlikView provide end-to-end, real-time insight into the complete Dutch mortgage market

Hypotheken Data Netwerk (HDN) is the cooperative Dutch mortgage data network that connects 4,000 brokers and 35 mortgage providers, handling about 45% of Dutch mortgage requests. HDN faced a lack of up-to-date, complete market intelligence—land-registry data was delayed by months—and needed a secure, scalable business-intelligence capability to provide benchmarking, improve platform value and grow market share.

HDN implemented QlikView (with partner HippoLine) to centralize XML message data, apply role-based access, and publish the HDN Index to users; the solution passed a KPMG penetration test and supported thousands of users from day one. The result was real-time national, regional and demographic market insight for brokers and providers, enabling benchmarking, targeted marketing and efficiency gains—and HDN increased market share by 5% in the first month after rollout.
