HAN University of Applied Sciences embraces the Qlik Academic Program to develop data literacy skills in students

HAN University of Applied Sciences, a vocational university in Arnhem and Nijmegen with 14 institutes and about 35,000 students, wanted to boost students’ data literacy and give them practical, career-ready analytics skills. Facing tight budgets and the need for faculty-friendly teaching materials, HAN needed a way to encourage students to use industry-standard BI tools and let academics easily integrate analytics content into coursework at no extra cost.

HAN joined the Qlik Academic Program, gaining free access to Qlik software, the Qlik Continuous Classroom curriculum, training, community support, and industry-recognized certifications with printable certificates and digital badges. In the first year nine faculty and 139 students participated, HAN added business intelligence to its coursework, instructors saved time by using ready-made materials, and graduates are now applying Qlik skills in their careers.
