Bakkavör, a global supplier of fresh prepared foods with more than 20 UK business units and operations across multiple continents, faced fragmented reporting: each unit used different ERP systems and bespoke or manual processes, making accurate sales analysis slow and time-consuming and leaving little time for value-added decision-making.
Working with BI partner Informance, Bakkavör piloted a QlikView template for sales analysis — the first application was built in about one week — then rolled the solution UK‑wide, replacing legacy Access reporting. The deployment cut weekly report production time by around 50%, delivered faster and more accurate decisions, improved accountability and consistency, and grew the user base (to 40 and rising) as QlikView was extended to other KPI and operational analyses.
